Today’s homily is based on Gn 15:5-12,17-18; Ps 27; Phil 3:17—4:1; Lk 9:28b-36.
Through reflecting on the readings over the past weeks we’re reminded that temptation is really a dis-ordered desire for something that is otherwise good. The difference lies in whether we’re using the varied gifts of God to further His kingdom or merely to satisfy our own desires. The discernment takes place when we recognize and accept truth no matter where it happens to land in our lives.
Today’s homily is based on Deuteronomy 26:4-10; Romans 10:8-13 and the Gospel of Luke 4:1-13.
Fr. Troy shows us how the temptations that Christ experienced during His forty days in the desert, are similar to the temptations that we face today in our lives.
Today’s homily is based on Joel 2:12-18; 2 Corinthians 5:20 – 6:2 and the Gospel of Matthew 6:1-6, 16-18
Fr. Troy explains why the Church invites us to actively participate in Lent every year. He also shares practical advice on how to make this year’s Lenten journey spiritually beneficial.
Today’s homily is based on Jeremiah 17:5-8; 1 Corinthians 15:12, 16-20 and the Gospel of Luke 6:17, 20-26.

On January 28 2010, we were honored to have Dr. Peter Kreeft visit our parish and give us a talk titled The Wisdom of Jesus. Later, we made this talk available through this site.
This is the Questions and Answers portion of the Peter Kreeft talk. We apologize, but we were not able to give the people asking questions the microphone. Because of this, you may not hear the questions being asked. However, you can infer the questions based on Peter Kreeft’s answers.
If there are any questions or concerns, please let us know.
